Not only is Mr. Hashimoto the owner and chief chef of the restaurant Ryozanpaku in Kyoto, he is a fine ceramist as well. He has been presenting exciting entrees, both immediately creative yet sincerely faithful, to traditional Japanese cuisine. For this particular exhibition, Mr. Hashimoto has turned his unique creativity to clay and tackled the theme of light.
