Koizumi Junsaku
Born 1924 in Kanagawa Prefecture
Mr. Koizumi is more widely recognized as a painter
rather than as a ceramist, for he recently completed
two major temple ceiling paintings. However,
his aesthetic sense is clearly demonstrated
in his ceramic work as well.
