Yufuku Gallery is pleased to announce the "Exhibition of Porcelain by Ivar Mackay." Mackay lives and works in Alnwick, a beautiful castle town in northern England, close to the Scottish border. For years he was a production potter making gardening pots, and it was only seven years ago that he began making his porcelain works as a ceramic artist. However, based on his solid experience in throwing pots and his constant exploration of porcelain glazes, he succeeded in presenting fantastic works for his first major solo exhibition at the Oriental Museum (Durham, England). The exhibition was a tremendous success, and Mackay's name is now internationally renown.
